An employee between a phone and a laptop: digital wellbeing in everyday work

A talk on wellbeing in the hybrid workplace

Our wellbeing at work is shaped to a large extent by the digital side of the job: meeting overload, constant interruptions and relationships that erode at a distance. A talk with practical steps the whole workplace can use the next day.

About the talk

Put the spotlight on the digital working day, and strengthen wellbeing

A talk on wellbeing in a hybrid workplace is about what actually puts pressure on everyday work: a calendar with no focus time, notifications that never take a day off, digital burnout, and the informal contact that no longer comes naturally. Microsoft’s surveys of 31,000 people show that 68% don’t get enough uninterrupted focus time in their working day.

We need a better balance. We call it TechLifeBalance: the balance between work, free time and screen time. The talk gives employees and leaders a shared language for digital wellbeing, and concrete habits you can start using the following week. Also read: Is your wellbeing affected by the digital work environment too? and Meeting overload: how to get your focus time back. If you’d like to tie wellbeing to a specific date, we also give talks for Denmark’s Mental Health Day.

Themes

What we cover

We tailor the content to how your workplace actually works. These are the themes we’re asked for most often.

01

Focus time & meeting overload

Fewer, better meetings, and a calendar with room to work again.

02

Digital working habits

Healthier habits around notifications, channels and expectations of always being “on”.

03

Relationships at a distance

The informal contact that used to come naturally now has to be designed.

04

Self-management without burnout

Freedom with responsibility, the Danish ideal of trusting people to run their own day, mustn’t turn into a working day without boundaries. We focus on how to set your own limits in practice.

What you get

What you take home

So the conversation about wellbeing becomes concrete rather than abstract.

02

Concrete habits from day one

Steps for meetings, notifications and focus time that the team can put in place themselves.

03

Less noise, more energy

A working day where technology helps rather than drains you.

04

A stronger “us”

Agreements that keep relationships alive, even when you don’t share an office.

Frequently asked questions about talks on wellbeing
What is a talk on wellbeing in a hybrid workplace about?

It’s about the digital pressure of everyday work: meeting overload, constant interruptions, digital burnout and relationships at a distance. Participants get a shared language for digital wellbeing and concrete habits they can use straight away.

Is the talk for employees or for leaders?

Both. The talk works best when the whole workplace hears the same thing, so wellbeing becomes a shared responsibility and not just a leadership project. We adapt the angle to your audience and occasion.

Can the talk be given online or in English?

Yes. We give the talk in person, online or hybrid, and in both Danish and English. The format scales from small leadership teams to conferences with over a thousand participants.

How much does a talk on wellbeing cost, and how long does it last?

A talk usually lasts 45–90 minutes; as a workshop, 2–4 hours. The price depends on format, duration and location. Tell us briefly about your occasion, and we’ll reply within 1–2 working days with a concrete proposal and a fixed price.
