About the programme

Leadership doesn’t change because of a single talk. It changes through practice.

This is a hands-on programme where the leadership team practises the disciplines that make or break hybrid work: clear direction, clear ways of working, healthy rhythms, and follow-up that builds trust rather than feeling like control. The programme works both as training for new managers who need a good start and as an update for experienced leaders who now lead hybrid teams.

The programme starts with an initial conversation, so the content fits your reality, and between the modules participants try out the practical steps in their own working week and get support with whatever was hard. The modules build on situational leadership: adapting your style to what each person needs for the task in front of them.

The programme

Four modules built on the 5 pillars

The 5 pillars of hybrid leadership come from a Danish method we call De 5 R’er, after five Danish words: Retning, Relationer, Rammer, Rytmer and Robusthed. In English: Direction, Relationships, Ways of working, Rhythms and Resilience. We adapt the order and emphasis to your context in the initial conversation.

01

Direction & ways of working

From unwritten expectations to clear agreements: the team agreement as a leadership tool.

02

Rhythms & meetings

Designing your meeting pattern: fewer, better meetings and predictable rhythms that free up focus time.

03

Relationships & wellbeing at a distance

Treating people equally wherever they work, one-to-ones that catch signs of strain early, and designing informal contact on purpose.

04

Resilience & making it stick

From course to culture: how the practical steps survive everyday pressure, and a plan for the next 90 days.

Frequently asked questions about leadership programmes and hybrid leadership
How is the leadership programme structured?

Four two-hour modules, built on the 5 pillars of hybrid leadership (De 5 R’er in Danish): Direction, Relationships, Ways of working, Rhythms and Resilience. Between the modules, participants try out the practical steps in their own working week and get support with whatever proved hard. The programme opens with an initial conversation, so the content fits your reality.

Is the programme for new or experienced leaders?

Both. Most leaders are still adjusting to hybrid, so the practical steps are new to nearly everyone. Experienced leaders update their toolbox, and new managers get a solid foundation from the start. We’re happy to put together groups that mix levels of experience.

Can the programme be tailored to our organisation?

Yes, that’s the starting point. The initial conversation maps your context and challenges, and we weight the modules, cases and exercises accordingly. The programme can also be extended with individual leadership coaching.

Does it take place in person or online?

As you prefer: in person, online or hybrid. A programme on hybrid leadership should of course work in a hybrid format. We use the format itself as part of the practice.
